So I went to Waseley Hills Country Park… again 🙂
This time I was holding the D-Lux 4 and took some quick shots of the wonderful scenery. Since I was wearing sunglasses some of the pictures came out a bit over or under exposed so I had to treat them in Aperture. Considering I was shooting Jpegs the results came out impressive!
The lesson I’ve learned: Never photograph while wearing sunglasses.
BTW: The glasses I was wearing broke already 🙂
90% underexposed .. I’m wandering if you used aperture for editing the pics !
Khaled..
This is what ‘normal’ photographs look like, it looks like you forgot about those things 😛
I mean I could’ve used some harder HDR ‘tricks’ to maximize the dynamic range and get every bit of detail in glorious brightness and vividness, believe me I can 🙂 , but why?
In each one of those pictures there is one element which I want you to focus on, and the exposure is adjusted to emphasized that and only that, no to get ‘everything’ in great exposure.
Yes, I want the final picture to look good, but without the fakeness which -unfortunately- we got used to these days.
And I’m really happy that you’re wondering if I used Aperture 😀 , it means I’ve reached my goal and I’m doing it right 😉
Man I missed a lot here, did not know you got the Leica! congrats man, 3oa’abal me 🙂 and yes nice “under/over” photos 😉
Thans 🙂
Yes, I finally did it and I’m lovin it 😀
bs 3ad don’t miss more please 😛
Sure, I wont 🙂
I really love the fact that those pictures are normal yet breathtaking.. I hate too much editing, I don’t know why, maybe because I don’t know much I mostly crop and resize in Pixelmator lol, but I agree on us getting used to fakeness.. I mean, we couldn’t do that pre-digital camera, you know 🙂 and now people are editing too much that I really would like to see the originals every time I see a picture!
Actually even in pre-digital photography some sorts of editing were quite common among professionals, but only few were considered professionals back then, so it was a special thing. Now it is much easier to edit.. and to get sucked in the digital manipulation world.
